Los Candeleros – April 26-27, 2011

This is a quite bay with 2 other boats. At the head of the bay is a new resort that opened a month ago. We went to shore with the dinghys and had to pull them over very shallow water for a long way.

 When we got up to the resort, the manager met us and gave us wrist bands to tour the grounds and use the pools. We ended the tour at the restaurant by the beach for margaritas and lunch.

 I went into the main restaurant and ran into Justin from Cabo Tours who we had met in La Paz. Justin and his wife Pamela came out to visit with us and he explained his company in the area named Wild Loreto. We told him about Loreto Fest and he decided to offer tours to the boaters.

We went back to the boats and watched another great sunset.

Wednesday morning we left for Puerto Escondido. On the way a pod of dolphins crossed in front of us and Firefly. We got a picture of them, but I’m not sure if they show up here.
